ABOUT THE TUTOR
Steve’s Hospitality Career started at the age of 15 straight from school. Steve completed his apprenticeship at the Flour Mill Restaurant which in time he purchased and started his journey on being a young entrepreneur with a passion for food. With many Chef Positions held along the way, restaurant managing, consulting and lecturing his knowledge and skill set is one to be reckoned with. Dalgleish Catering is Steve’s current venture and life, this started in 1999. With the opening of his café in 2004 saw the start of Geraldton’s Coffee culture begin. POSH function centre was opened in 2009 on the foreshore and is still a sort after venue for weddings party’s dances and conferences. 2014 saw the start of Steve’s pathway change course a little to include Cooking classes in his purpose built Industrial kitchen and cooking demonstrations at events, expos and shopping centres the highlight being filmed by ABC Midwest Wheat belt earlier this year. Dalgleish Catering has the reputation as Geraldton’s premier caterer, specialising in providing exquisite custom menus and impeccable service for meetings, conferences and special events throughout the Mid-West region and beyond ranging in size from five to 5000 guests. Steve has received numerous awards and accolades over the years including Customer service, Regional Small Business Awards, and Telstra Awards .
Dalgleish catering will also be providing morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas at the Midwest Autumn Craft Round Up.
